Your images never leave your device

All conversion tools on pngconvert.net run entirely inside your web browser. When you convert a PNG to ICO, the file is read, resized, and repackaged locally on your device using the browser's built-in Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, or seen by us — the conversion works even with your internet connection switched off.

What we collect

We use web analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they view, and roughly where visitors come from. Specifically:

• Google Analytics 4 — measures page views and aggregate usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers, and processes your IP address and device information to produce these statistics. • Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookie-free, aggregate page-view counts collected by our hosting provider.

None of this measurement involves the images you convert — those never leave your device.

Advertising

The site may display advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep the tools free. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.
• Visitors in regions that require it (such as the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland) will be asked for consent via a consent banner before any advertising cookies are set.

Advertising never affects the core promise above: your files are converted locally and are never uploaded.
